According to senior sources within publishing, retailers are being instructed not to list Xbox hardware in their next catalogue publications. “They are telling us that they have reached their targets and want to clear the way for the next machine,” we were told, with our source speaking under terms of anonymity. “It’s reached the point where the amount of money they lose per unit, combined with the fact that they might well eat into their own [Xbox 360] market share, means that continuing the run is just not feasible.”

so, clever or bad move by MS? are they rushing the next gen arrival? the PS3 release has been delayed by Sony, meaning the Xbox 360 (not official name) will b the most powerful console @ its release, with the current XBox 2nd most powerful.
remember, the XBox 360 might NOT be backwards compatible with the current XBox, so what will be happening to current XBox owners? [keep in mind, this has not been confirmed/denied - its just based on speculation wrt certain comments made]

ONE THING, saying "MS SUCKS BALLS" is not clever discussion, remember the MS & their XBox are resposible for quite a big shakeup in the current console generation so they must be doing something right.
