We have not increased our entrance fees from last year; however the accommodation costs have gone up by a small margin…
But fear not, they are still very good!
Here is the full breakdown:
For your seat in front of your computer and the right to enter one of the four event options; namely Counter Strike, WarCraft III FT, UT or the Open LAN, you will be required to pay R200-00 at the Arena 77 registration desk.
For your accommodation requirements you will have one of three options:
1) A Standard two bedroom Chalet with on suite bathrooms including towels. A fully fitted lounge with a TV linked to DSTV and a kitchen. It basically has everything you will find in the Hotel except for the fact that it has a fully fitted kitchen including cutlery for all your self catering needs. R350 per night, no matter how many people share it with you plus a 1% tourism levy
2) A Basic Chalet that is exactly the same size, (two beds, two bathrooms, lounge and kitchen), but is not fully fitted. Meaning it has all the furniture including beds, but it may not have towels or cutlery. Some may have TV’s others may not. This is great value for money though. R250 per night, no matter how many people share it with you plus a 1% tourism levy
3) The Hotel rooms that sleep two and includes breakfast. This will be charged at standard Carousel rates. Simply phone them should you wish book a room in the hotel
Should you want to book a Chalet, make sure you speak to all the gamers, family and or friends that will be sharing with you and then do the following:
To book your accomodation send a mail to: caroresv@sunint.co.za (caroresv@sunint.co.za)
Or... send a fax to: 012 718 7111 requesting either the Standard or the Basic chalet options.
This is the only way to book your accommodation... Do not phone them!
Please remember that it is your responsibility to book this correctly with the Carousel and making a double booking will result in a chalet showing as booked without it actually being used. Meaning you may be the cause of someone going without accommodation.
There are only 46 chalets in total, so you need to have as many people as possible sharing with you.
Example:
8 people sharing a Standard chalet for three nights, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
= R350 times 3 days
= R1050 plus one percent tourism levy
= R1060-50 Divided by 8 people sharing it
= R132-56 per person for the entire weekend!!!
8 people sharing a Basic chalet for three nights, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
= R250 times 3 days
= R750 plus one percent tourism levy
= R757-50 Divided by 8 people sharing it
= R94-69 per person for the entire weekend!!!
Should you decide to only stay for two nights, meaning you will leave after the prize giving on Sunday afternoon, based on the above example, you would pay R63 for the weekend.
Three important things to consider:
1) We are nearly full and will be closing registrations in a day or two
2) If you have registered for two sections, please remove yourself from one section to make space for other people
3) Wednesday the 27th of April and Monday the 2nd of May are public holidays.
If you need anything kindly send a mail to Admin@arena77.com or simply voice it on the forum.
