Is Kalahari.net a local site where you can buy from? Because Amazon has got stuff kalahari don't have.

How does all these sites work, the shipment ect. (depends prob which site hey?)
Any other sites or shops I can get hold of dvd's?

I order from amazon.co.uk since they are a lot cheaper than kalahari and other za sites plus they have region 2 dvds(amazon.com doesn't). If you take the normal delivery option it takes about 2 weeks for the stock to arrive (delivery is around R200). You'll have to go to the post office to pay 14% VAT and import duties and pick up the products. I've ordered from them 4 times so far with no hassles at all, my suggestion order big, 10 - 15 dvds in one shot.

Take2.co.za is pretty ok.

I use amazon.com in the US. They're cheaper than the UK bunch and delivery is around 25US$ (or 35, I'm not sure.) You must have a region 1 capable DVD player though, otherwise order from the UK. I recently paid duties and taxes of R77 on 4 DVD's, so you can bargain on about R20 per DVD. The US also normally have stuff sooner than SA and the UK. Region 1 gets released first, it seems.

I use Kalahari.net (frequent 10% discounts) and Take2 for just about any DVD, Game, Book and music related purchase I do and I never had any problems.

I see a new e-tailer mediaplum.com opened with incredible 30% discount specials. They are totally legit if anyone wonders.

The local sites are not bad at all, however if your willing to wait a bit longer for delivery you will get stuff cheaper from overseas. Thats including shiping and delivery.

lol, yeah, dont know if its good or not to be able to do everything without leaving your desk. I mean I order it frommy desk, I pay it from my desk and I even receive it at my desk. :P

PS. Anyone ordering from the abroad, please keep me in mind, I would kill for a copy of Boondock Saints, which I can't find in SA, cept for VHS at kalahari.net.
