Crosshairs 101

1. What crosshair do you use, or do you use a different one for each weapon?

2. What colour is your crosshair, or does it differ per weapon?

3. Hidden weapon or not?

I just want to get the feel on what people use most.

Dot for my LG and big cross for my Shock though... and hidden weapon.

3. Weapon visible, but 'small'.

All weapons have different crosshairs, e.g. minigun has white circle 3, FC and RL both have triads, shock rifle has purplecircle with dot in middle (reminiscent of Quake's railgun) and LG used to have teal triad, but now just a dot, helps more. Visible weapon, normal. used to try hidden and small, but didn't feel "right"

1. I use different cross hairs for each weapon
2. I set mine to a sharp yellow colour
3. Hidden weapon - make the FOV better!

Different for color for each

LG=light blue
SR=white
Mini= mix white/blue

All drop down menus set to LOWEST with the exception of characte detail.
All check boxes unticked and no fog distance.

Yellow or pink (cant remember), use a colour that wont contrast.

In a duel game how do you get out of a bad position and by that i mean being spawn raped constantly. I normally start of quite strong but after a while i find myself getting spawn raped and losing the match. I try to use my shield gun but then the enemy knows you don't have guns and kills yet again. Also tried to dodge the hell out of there with no luck.

Any body got some fancy moves here maybe some of the guys that have played me have some tips.....

Well, I have been fiddling with crosshairs, and I am sure that I am going blind in my old day.
The dot, I could never use. There were just way too many situations where it completely dissapeared. I have been using the X crosshair, with max size and no translucency for yonks now, but discovered that it is also no longer usefull to my failing eyes.

Now I have a fluorecent green Triad1 (max size, no translucency), using with all weapons and weapons showing. Now that I can finally see the damn thing, my moving combos are much easier and even my flak more accurate. Things like sniping is a pain, but I rather shoot in the right direction than play the guessing game. My aim has improved somewhat too.
I just found that yellow/orange dissapear to quickly on some map textures and that red dissapears when you get attacked by a minigun. White is close to invisible on anything bright and blue is too dark for most things.

With weapons showing there is no need to have a different crosshair for different weapons, unless you prefer something like the dot for sniping and different colours just dissapear too often.

1) I use the K-Aus WS crosshair package. Different crosshairs for different weapons.
2) I use different colours for different weapons
3) Weapon hidden (I don't think I can remember how the weapons look anymore)

Me too...I have the black dot with a white circle around it...on all weapons
