The homebrew PSP scene is about to explode. This morning, Spanish hackers came up with a solution for running unauthorized software on the advanced handheld, opening the floodgates for web browsers, emulation, video players and other software.
When the exploit originally surfaced, users were required to perform a "swap trick" using two memory sticks. Seeing as how most people had picked up larger memory sticks to compliment the bundled 32MB stick, the trick quickly spread. Another, more complicated exploit, however, arrived onto the scene this evening, requiring a little more patience, but only one memory stick.
