So we are all amped to play some UT2K4, so why not for the weekend does someone not host a local UT server on there connection. I recon we if we have a 4mb connection we should get sorted out. At least we can have some fun even if the ping rates are a bit iffy.

So what do you guys think? I have a 384 connection so I am a no go. So share some ideas and I am sure between us we can get a good session going for the weekend.

Dreamer hosts Ut3 on his 4mb and it runs perfectly

Im on 384K and in Durban (Sh1t pings for every1 else)....and have no idea how to host lol

tacaar hosts a ut2k4 server and i ping very good on it, but I dont think he wants everyone playing on. We just use it to duel every now and then, but I will ask him. :P

Dreamer wont host ut2k4... he hates it hahaha

ROFL @ Rahz dude you so funny, come on guys lets make a plan hope your mate does not mind though it would be fun and lol @ Dreamer he is gonna loose when UT2K4 server is up and running (soz Dreamer nothing bad ment there) but when the UT2K4 boys start jamming again all else will go to dust.

ok spoke to tac... Good and bad news... :< there is a huge LAN this weekend at dreamers house and the pc hosting the server will be there for scally to play on so the server will be down... BUT we will host the server from dreamers house and all play online for the LAN... SOOOOOOO Either ill call you okes telling you when we playing or ill post?!

Rahz I take it that this is for UT2004 which you said Dreamer would never host as he hates the game, so I hope I am reading you correct man that this is for UT2004. Sounds great mate, give us details we will all be watching this space that is for sure.

Ye we having a UT/dota LAN!! we playing ut99 ut2k4 and ut3!!! but we will host the server there(tac will set it up) and leave it up!! LAN starts at 12:00 tmrw so i guess the server will be up by 1-2o'clock!! ill keep you guys posted :D

It states in UT that there is no server connection just add to favourits and click join it works, the game is lying to you ROFL. So lets rock and roll.
