New Onslaught Maps

I had a quick search for new exciting onslaught maps, and found quite a few (more like a sheit load)....

Have any of you come across nice maps we can all get and put on one of the servers for testing? I really think we should get a few new maps before the ladder matches.......

Heres one worth trying (it has a crap load of nodes which might make for turnarounds and unfortunetely overtimes....)

You will see it on the MA server, and we will vote it tonight.We try it and see if it is worth playing in the ladder matches....

If they are worth playing, we just tell peeps to get it for ladder matches.....

Im sure we can get them on sgs with lots of free beer and sexual favours to the admins.....

oops. Oh well. Just getting tired of the same old maps over and over again and we did mention this a while back but nothing happened. We (I) will have a look tonight and report back if it is worth trying. Otherwise we could use this exercise merely to try and get some new maps on sgs and other servers.......

okey.....now......riiiiighhtt.....

DesertedSands looks pretty awsome with nice clean terrain, basic things which should prove for nice smooth game play (no laggy extras). Theres a sheit load of nodes which i think would be awsome for some possible combacks......
A definity candidate for a beeg onslaught game...



Dinora i found a bit confusing (but it was getting a bit late, so maybe i was just tired....;) ). Maybe a tad too small.....


ONS-CBP2-Valarna.
Now heres a nice looking playable map. Basic things, nice open terrain, elevated nodes etc etc..... Worth playing!!


The others, have not tried yet. And daces new map Twilight-SE is on MA server for testing as well.

cbp2-valarna is nice, but you need quite a big amount of players for it, hell 8vs8 seems too little @ times. still, an awesome map to play.

cbp2-tropica is also a nice map, as well as cbp2-brassed.

dont forget Dace's ONS-Twilight-SE map which he released now, with the server bug fixed & everything! :)

soz for missing last nights ONS "testing" section. will hopefully make it tonight :)

Lo fellow ONSaughtians,

In the interest of keeping ppl interested in ONS we need to seriously check out teh new maps. PP, dfens and myself checked them out last night, and it was very nice. They are loaded on MA svr, and the links are posted above,

I think that we need more maps of all game types . there are map packs like the flag packs and ucmp which have some nice maps and PP have installed it so al we need is people to actually download the maps so that it can be used.

I will make a file server avaliable a bit later with most of these maps available( the ons maps as well)
