Porgram to control CPU Fan Speed?

I am desparately looking for a program with which I can control my CPU Fan speed. I cannot sleep with this noisy thing. Speedfan used to work with my old Asus motherboard. Now I have a Gigabyte K8 Triton (Nforce3 250) and Speedfan does not seem to work with that. I tried the respective gigabyte and nvidia tools, but none of them have such an option.

Anyone got an idea ?

If all else fails install a ThermalTake Hardcano. They make your PC lekker stil.
