42 vs MA impromptu clanny

In the wee hours of the morning, we (Team 42) decided to hold an excursion onto SGS 2. Myself, Scrye and Nick hopped onto the server, right smack bam into the middle of what gametype, but Onslaught.

Present in full force were the 5th battalion detachment of MA players, or something to that effect.

Shortly thereafter, Karnaugh joined, and Cataphract suggested we hold an impromptu clan match on that very server.

MA picked Onslaught as their gametype, and we picked TDM as ours.

We chose to play MA on Frostbite, and got horribly demolished. I haven't seen teamwork like that since I watched that Discovery channel documentary on SWAT tactics. I think the ONS gametype was over in under four minutes, flawless victory, countless 42 fatalities, the works.

The TDM came, and after a little pleading, we got MA to switch their map choice from Oceanic, to one better suited to 8 players. It was a fairly enjoyable and tight game of Grendelkeep, resulting in a tight victory for 42.

After the two gametypes, a suggestion of a quick CTF game was met with widespread approval from members of both clans. Maul was quickly decided upon.

A tight game ensued, and ultimately, the tide of the match swung in favour of 42, allowing us to eventually claim victory in the CTF.

Absolutely well played to everyone in MA. You guys have a level of tightness I haven't seen in a team in ages. Thanks a ton for the games.

Not sure what solar alignment happend to get all the 42ers to be playing UT at the same time (out of complete coincidence)... but we defenitly suck ass at ONS.

It was awesome! I instigated just to be able to see the show! :D

I have to qualify Scrye's statement that Team 42 suck at ONS. For a first crack at the gametype against a team like ~MA~, you did cool! I was watching Nick in the tank and Mburr in the raptor - deadly!!!! The Team 42 players all have unsurpassed aim and Mburr and Scrye can take out a vehicle in seconds with the shock rifle.

I must insist that Team 42 desist from any further ONS matches. Leave the normal people something to be good at. :D

Watching Mielie operate on CTF-Maul was an experience!
