Alot of them either kick me back to the demo screen, give me a gpf or just dont load at all, freezing unreal.

I get this error when I double click one of these demos, any ideas?

History: CheckTag <- LoadSummary <- ULinkerLoad::ULinkerLoad <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

Ure supposed to extract the demo4 file into a folder named "DEMOS"
(make a new one if u dont have 1) in the UT2004 main directory.

Once there rename to something easy to type like "demo.demo4" making sure to keep the .demo4 extension . Then load UT and drop to console and type:

demoplay demo ( "demo" being the name of the demo u saved)

Yup got it , and all the other little things needed. If anyone needs any certain files to load demos , try this url ive got saved http://cache.respawnkiller.de/System/

Came across it while hunting for files. Given me alot of useful things. Let me know if you find it useful.

sounds like u'z are missing a file sumwhere

had sum trouble with my ut crashing like that over the weekend

at first i thought it was my ram, then i copied the whole ut directory from a backup and i was sorted again....

still have no clue as to what file it was though that caused me to crash

Snake- follow the procedure above - then UT will tell u what files u r missing then download the files and paste into "system" folder in UT2004 main directory.

I just had to move my user.ini and ut2004.ini to another folder and everything was fine :)

I can play them no problem. I've got clean install, with only the latest patch and utcompv16.

Yeh, discovered the same thing, 1)reinstalled 2) patch 3323 3)ECE Bonus Pack & 4)patch 3355 + utcomp 1.6

Don't know who this "Gandulf" guy is with the funny numbers in front of his name, but he sure gave this -_-v-ok! oke or whatever a pakslae eh? :D

These are the first demos of other dudes (other than me watching myself!)that ive watched but FUCK ME SIDEWAYS they move around a map quickly! lol Only watched one game so far but they're not half bad. Still, i can nail better shock combos :P

Yes, -_-v OK!!.

I don't recall playing Gandulf in the actual tournament. I think that was a warmup game on the Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Ye n00mz is quite something in ut, not quite what i expected. I was expecting a run for my money when it came down to the top5, not in the group stages.

Scrye was probably the most unlucky player there. He only got to play one game in the double elim which wasn't against a fellow 42 member. He won that game, against Nevar, I believe, then was knocked out by Mburr and myself. That's pretty shoddy luck. He deserved top 8.

Well you had to kill lotsa noobs to make it to the top 16 the more frags you got the Higher you got ranked in the top 16 for the double elims.
It was realy sad havving to bash some noobs just to get a good ranking..
I think a lot of those ppl will never play ut again ... and at least they actuly showed up for the tourny .... Mybee next year we play alot more games instead of trying to finish every game in 1 day... we had the whole weekend to play and by sa.terday evning most of the games were already done.

PS Scyre just got lucky beating me :P IRONIC ...BLEH.
