Hey all,
Is there anyone that help me with the 1.2 patch.. It is a little to large for me download at work :(
I am willing to pay for the CD/DVD and postage to Durban if there is no one that can help in the immediate area..
I am also having map crashes on certain maps saying C+++ error. I have googled this and can't seem to find a proper solution. Has anyone else had these problems and been able to solve them ???? I was having a UT3.exe error on start up but resolved this by editing some of the ini. files.
I am also looking for more warefare maps, so if anyone can help me on this matter too, I would be extremely happy

Hey,
I hope that you come right with it. You haven't perhaps tried using a local only account to grab it from ftp://ftp.games.saix.net ?
I've got no clue as to what could be causing that error...Have you tried a clean install?
There is also a bonus map pack found at ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/unreal_tournament_3/maps/ . I'm sure it includes some more Warfare maps.
I hope to see you on the servers soon. Good luck with the issue resolution.

That C+++ error could be as a result of your editing of the .ini files...Just a guess. I'm sure a clean install will resolve it.

Thank Belg. but after my googling there seems to be alot of people with the same sort of issues, but unfortunatley I can't seem to find a solution.. Please forgive my no0bness but what do you mean by a clean install ?????
With the c+++ error it links it to the binaries folder. Unfortunatley you won't be seeing me on the servers anytime soon as I don't have a dsl line @ home:( All my Ut goes down with mates at our LANS were we play 99 , and 2k4 and now will be playing 3 too..
Viva Unreal Tournament..

Hey,
Just basically mean uninstall UT3... and then reinstall it. Have you tried that? Which operating system are you using? Graphics card? Do you have the latest forceware drivers if it's nvidia?
Ah, that's a pity. The servers are so dead...it's a shame :(.

By the way, you can also grab some Warfare maps from: http://www.utforge.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=qhqd5mdo42488nniuvmuvf6984&action=downloads;cat=10 .

Yeah I have reinstalled a few times , I am running XP and have an 512 8500gt card, I have also recently managed to up my Mem. back up to a Gig.
Amd gigabyte MB 3500+ (long in the tooth now :()
After slowly bringing my machine back from the dead...
After installing latest drivers I can only get 4 bit, so I have resorted back to the origanel drivers I got with the card...
Am I the only one that is having these problems ??? I read a thread somewhere commenting on something to do with framework something or other , I remember when I installed NWN2 it changed the something to do with framework...
What this is I don't know or where to find it and remove it or disable it?
I am happy that I still get to play most of the maps with out any issues apart from a few maps , some also crash to the BLUE SCREEN:(

I assume you've read: http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=600028 ?
I really have no clue beyond what I've said. I hope you come right...but the latest ForceWare Drivers from nVidia should really help. It helped my friend's pc perform better with no problems.
