My clanmate MaNiC (maker of q6's q3 movie "q6 bei bei", download of the month on ownage.com) was gonna make one of my frags I've collected over the years up to ESWC qualies just a month ago but, alas, when i came back from Joey's my pc was riddled with virii and i had to format before i got the chance to back anything up. I was so bummed omg :(
This one looks cool, i honestly gave up on dl'ing ut2k4 movies after the last one i watched which was so badly done , god knows how it got a news post on the front page of esreailty :S Will have a look at this one tho.

yeah i've got one of his old Q3 movies.. he definatley knows what he's doing. You should rack up some more demo's quick.. get him to make something unreal! ;)

JKR, his latest is a _must have_ for all q3 fans. He's getting this awesome rep with overseas q3'ers so much so that he cant go on quakenet without 3/4 prvt msg's about it.

OMFG, now thats the way a movies suppose to be made...
Nothing but good music, Frags................... OMG, the fisrt brilliant frag thats shown is that rocket that just slides past the wall......... Never have i seen a movie of this caliber(spelling:P).... Team kills are nothing but brilliant, IMHO no words can discribe the excellence of this movie....

It's definatley one of the better/best ut movies i've seen. But unfortunatley nowhere close to some of the Q3 vids ive seen. Ut2004 is just unfortunatley not very movie friendly, mainly from the capped demo fps and small models in large rooms, which just come out looking blury after utcomp and the movie's compression.
Very nice movie, the kill shots could be better, but very well made.

We need to use a lot of local bandwidth before Telkom takes it away :P, so we have grand stories of unlimited bandwidth to tell our grandchildren :(.

I struck a bit of luck this month. I downloaded about 4GB of E3 videos after I've already used 2GB of my cap. For some reason Telkom "forgot" to block my international access. I used my international bandwidth for three days after I was supposed to be capped. Wooop! Now if someone can host this locally so I can add it to my collection, it will definitely make my day! :)

I'll put it on my FTP server tonight from about 18:00 onwards. I'm having people for dinner so I'll only start playing online from around 23:00. Download as much as you can before 23:00, and after 01:00.
I still have about 29 of my cumulative 33GB left. It was a busy month at work ;)

I pay the standard R599 p/m for the DSL512 line and R480 p/m for the AYCE 30GB account. I still have an Mweb 3gb account as well (R350 I think) but I should actually cancel that one.
The realistic total is therefore R1079 per month. A crying shame. I keep seeing car adds for less a month. :(

Thx Cat, does that include your line rental? See, I'm paying about R850 p/m for my DSL512 (including line rental (Telkom as ISP)). So if I go with the ISP you are using and then go for an AYCE account (perhaps lower than 30GB though) it's just R200 more.
Sorry to go off topic.
If I remember right, Cat signed up when they were promoting the AYCE service, so he got some super low monthly rate, where their normal monthly charges are actually quite a bit higher than that :).
MaXimus, mine is about the same. If you go for the AYCE (www.ayce.co.za (http://www.ayce.co.za)) account you will pay just over R300pm more than your currently paying if you drop your current ISP charges. (so 1100 - 200 ish)
There is smaller packages at www.axxess.co.za (http://www.axxess.co.za) but I dont know anybody that is using them and when comparing them I think ayce is the better deal + they look a bit more professional.

Correct Shrimp, I got the AYCE startup deal which is half the normal price.
I have had no problems whatsoever with my AYCE account. Works like a charm.

30GB a month is a lot. Over the past 3 months I've used 11.6GB out of 90!
Well ive ordered the 10G acount from access effective from the 1st June for a total isp cost of R399PM with no contract. www.axxess.co.za (http://www.axxess.co.za) i reckon its a huge saving as 2x telkoms 3G acccounts would cost like R260+- x 2= R520+- so thats 6G and im gettign 10 for less. No contract no mess no fuss.
O cat try using DCC++ , im sure youcan use about 20+G'z a month via that getting all the nice goodies u need. Pm if u want the info on how to get connected. Ull never look back.

Very good UT movie, except for the airrox most of those shots where luck tho. The best UT movie I've seen so far is a UT2K3 movie called Play.CTF, its all CTF action but some of the transkills are unreal.

Thanks to Cataphract the Great, I was able to download the movie and see it too. Awesome quality, funky music and some real cool shots. Some of those shots may have been luck but some was also ub3r 1337 sk1lzzzzzz..... :) The guy who made this vid knows his stuff alright. :)
