4am phonecalls, honestly!

The stupidity prevails

So I'm in the middle of this wc3 tower defence, aproximately 3:45 in the morning and i get a phonecall! This is of course no ordinary phonecall as the number is "with held" which i must say is quite lame since i pay so much for caller ID and of course its 3:45 in the morning. Now as anyone would answer a phonecall at this hour i say "Yo?" and this brief conversation follows:

Caller with heavy afrikaans accent: "Is this... is this Jonty"
Me: "yep, thats me"
Caller with heavy afrikaans accent: "Listen here Jonty, I'll moer you"
Me: "Thnx for that"
Caller with heavy afrikaans accent: "Listen here..."

Before he finishes his highly insightful and intelligent sentence, i hang up.

Now the caller calls me repeatedly for the next 10 minutes trying to get some sort of response out of me or maybe something out of him. I reject the calls for those 10 minutes and switch off my phone there after as the creeps in the tower defense I'm playing require my imediate attention.

Now in the 45 minutes following the phonecalls i could only come up with 1 conclusion as to who this could possibly be: someone from unrealZA. For no one who has my number, besides most of the community here, has an afrikaans accent and wants to "moer me." I came to this conclusion because of recent events on these forums that could have triggered such an act of stupidity and typical aparthied logic: trying to install fear into something they feel threatend by.

Well, if it makes u happy u did inconvience my tower defense game and wasted about 15 minutes of my time typing this up

I have no doubt that the person responsible will have a good laugh when he reads this and will probably reply with some snappy 2-liner. Then later he might realise what a fool i just made him look like, in which case i can prolly expect more 4-am phonecalls from someone with a heavy afrikaans accent.

Well this post should be entertaining for the last few decent guys who browse this forum. ;)

Btw, i highly recommend "Ryoko Tower Defense" for wc3, its mad fun !

Please dont insult clan neutron, the guys in the team are really excited about the clan- having some older UT player from an older clan basically insult them and make them feel small( yes they read the forums also) is not good for their ego.

As you might have seen , the clan is growing slowly and actually having a good time, we are being accpeted and getting support and good comments. Thats called postiveness, wich people thrive on - you should try giving some out some time- might help.

So please dont publically insult our clan as we dont insult yours .

Ok sorry, maby he ddint mean to say it was a bad thing to join -nT- and i might have read or understood it wrong. So i hope no -one does think its a bad thing to join neutron. It can be a bad thing to have new recruits, but i know belgarion from these forums and he didnt come to me in some diguise or with false pretences- wich is honest and fine. I have faith that he will be an asset and we always welcome people with the hunger to have fun playing Ut2k4. :)
