Yeah, the novelty has definatly worn off. Noticed how mane webmail accounts give you a gig storage lately?

Well gmail have up'd their storage amount to 2048MB(2G) now. Well if you ask me gmail and the way gmail works still beats many email types hands down. The little gmail notifier works like a charm for adsl users who are online all day.

yeah soz , Ive got 2G'z and it hasnt grown for me yet past that level. I think what youre saying , and yes ive seen that counter before, is that thats the total allocated amount of storage they have given and counting. The growing amount imho is due to the number of new users getting their new upgrade to the 2 G? Isthat was is happening or am i wrong and they have issued "unlimited" storage with storage growth inline with the amount of mail you send and recieve?

gmail is cool but loading a gig on a modem is crap.
now i have dsl and a 3gig cap so that's crap to

therefore gmail is useless to me

Notice how the average SMTP queue turnaround on Webmail is anywhere from 2 hours to one day. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
