AMD creative marketing at its best. I think the conclusion says it best:

------
AMD's goals are quite admirable, but the fact of the matter is that none of the visual improvements enabled by the Far Cry patches had anything to do with AMD64 or EM64T. They are artificially limited to run on those platforms alone, but could work just as well on a 32-bit platform.
------

Still, it is very purty! :P

HEheh, yeah installed WinXP64, PC Runs fast and all, but i think my GFX drivers still not optimised for WinXP64.

I get 8513 3dmarks in 2003, in Normal Windows XP with SP1, In Windows XP64 I get 7800 3Dmarks. Which is quite (for me) a noticeble difference.

Rofl & After 3 years of that marketing, on how good their chip is cause it is 64-bit enabled & only that small performance gain... pfffffffffffffft I'm glad I don't have an AMD

You can see now Y Intel didn't even really bother with 64-bit for the past few years...

Yeah, Intel where kept too busy trying to sort out the heating problems on the prescot processors, they didn't succeed.

That doesnt matter. AMD 64s blow Intels away in normal 32bit software anyways. 64bit is merely a bonus. Oh and just so you know, some Intel Prescott versions DO come with 64bit support; that they licensed from AMD. You would actually think that Intel would do their own thing.

"pffffffffffffft"

too bad x64 sucks... I installed it and had about a million problems in the first half hour. I'll try again in a few months with some hopefully better drivers...
