Hey all,
I have been looking for a Microsoft Habu mouse. And at the moment, the only place where I could find it, its sold out : Canal Walk, PC game World.
I dont want to order it right now, so I was wondering where I could get one during the week-end, in a Shop near Town.
Many thanks

Did you try an online shop like www.prophecy.co.za (http://www.prophecy.co.za)
These kind of places will normally deliver to you within 2-3 days and are usually a little cheaper than normal walk in retail shops.

Skullnick...Frontosa IT are the importers and dist. of the MS Habu, if u want one send me a PVT. It will only be on Monday...If my memory serves me right it costs about R400. This is the wholesale cost and I will charge u what I pay, i don't need to make 50 bucks.
Jeezie Kreezie!
I saw one of those mice for R990 at incredible corruption the other day.

LOL..Haja... I idle there 24/7 but I am not always 'there' and when i respond u not there...oh yes and the Antec Lanboy case was nice at the time...There are much better cases now...the Lanboy's 2x120mm fans just don't cut it in the cooling dept....if u do get one..mod another 120mm fan on the side of the case that blows directly on the CPU and GPU.

Hmm, ffs, all this Hype about the HABU, and i had teh choice of getting an american 1 ... but i got g5 instead :D
Hmm, 6-1 half a dozen the other... I do know that the MAX dpi on both the G5/HABU is 2000. And they both lazer mice. Dunno about the comfort levels, but i do know that the G5 is 1 very cool mouse :D
Peace

I agree. Got me mine as well after loads of research and so forth. Cool mouse, but need to discipline myself though :( Keep changing settings...*sigh*
Habu FTW!!! G5 is nice as well, but imho not nearly as good as the habu:D

I have an MX518 and I am very happy. But I have used the G5 and I like that quite a lot too. It may seem like a gimmick, but I quite like having the ability to change its weight.
The Habu does not have this feature, right?

No it doesn't need that feature, it is perfectly weighted and balanced already :p
It also comes with an extra left 'click in' panel for the thumb buttons..i guess thats for players with large or small fingers.

Lol, thats just ur opinion. And ur entitled to it.
The main factor for me was the max DPI, and the Lazer eye. They both have 2000 dpi and are both lazer. And comfort.
Lol, all i need in the mouse is good effortless movement, and 3 buttons to click, accuracy and wheel. The G5 has all that and more, and i got it for free, so im a happy chappie.
Different strokes for different folks. U might like Lamborgini, i might like ferarri. Whateva tickles ur fancy ...
Peace

For me, coming from a Razer Diamondback, I must say, while playing intensive games, my aim is more stable, therefore more accurate. Otherwise, they're basically the same, except software/hardware-wise, you have much more settings.
