Are you into 3D animation and/or modelling?

I did 2 courses at Damelin Pretoria. These were Digital Publishing in the first year and Animation & Multimedia in the second year.
Didn't do Maya as I would have liked but we did 3DS Max with the character animation module as well.
Umm, does Milkshape count? :P

I think it does.
Im I usually mess around with hl2's hammer, makes more sense to me than Ued. :p

unless u count unrealed i don't do it tried it once in quake to make my own caracters, but gave up when i couldn't understand how to animate my creation
I bashed about with some povray stuff a long time ago but havn't used it much since.
I remember seeing a picture I made show up on someones desktop background; Someone actually liked my crazy art :)
Tried Maya; gave up.
I definately intend to give it another shot though.
You're all missing out on a big player here. Namely Blender (http://www.blender.org/).
Oh, and another one that I use quite alot which is Caligari - TrueSpace (http://www.caligari.com/)

Did alot of DirectX dev
Version 7. Retained and immidiate modes.
Version 8.1 immidiate Mode.
Version 9.x Managed Mode.
been on 3dsmax since version 2.5 beta, awesome for making quick models for DirectX
