I want to get my clan going again

Ok yes yes i'm not in a ut clan BUT at the beginning of this year a friend and i started off what would be a great fun clan with the intention of playing in competitions and seeing where we go from there.

We were relatively noob in the beginning and so were our first recruits and well we all became relatively skilled but the best aspect of all was that we had all become very good friends and still know each other very well even though we have never met in person. The guys decoded that they wanted me to be captain of the team.

We were steadily increasing in skill and becoming sort of known for the first 6 months. I was at varsity then doing a degree which i never enjoyed and so i decided to stop my course and move back home(had no adsl) till i find what i want to do. That was the beginning of July i think.

But since i left it seems that the guys lost interest and haven't really been playing together as a clan or practicing, well i was the Captain. I still kept in contact with most of my team mates.

I finally got adsl at home last week and so i want to get things going properly again with my clan, i would like to be Captain again and so do some of my teamies, as for the others i haven't spoken to them yet about it.

Clan Captains i want to know if you guys think it is right for me to want to get things back the way used to be and be clan captain again? If you think i am wrong please tell me your reason for saying so and if you maybe have any ideas which would help my clan out please can you tell me?

hehe problem is that almost all of my css clan mates only play css and the clan is already mad just in shambles mostly because of me?

Perhaps you should gather some freelance ppls together and, using your natural charisma and stuff, create a clan like that?

sorry i only noticed now that the clan i was talking about here is a counter strike source clan know as the space munkeys :)

If you manage to get clan members that are like minded and enjoy thegame for the same reason you do, then it is actually quite easy. However, if you go on a recruiting spree, getting anyone who is not in a clan to wear your tag, without knowing them, you are most likely going to have an uphill battle on your hands for sure.

New clans are always welcome, and its very cool 'making it' as a clan, very satisfying :)

well we already have a clan with a few good members again and i want to get things going again properly and back to the way it was?

GM/MF is the same story. Great peeps, all good friends but I'm the only one who still plays this game seriously. I'm also keen to get my old clan back to a state superceding its former state.

Hopefully we'll be ready for UT07
