SERIOUS Mous lag

Does anyone have a solution to this problem:

My normal graphics card got fried the other day, but luckily, I had a spare FX 5600 lying around. I popped it in, loaded UT and wham! serious, serious, unplayable mouse lag.

I have an MX518, no setpoint installed.

Strange thing is; if I play a single player game the lag seems to get a LITTLE bit better, and then when I go back to multiplayer it stays better for about a minute, and then goes back to pooh?

What card did you have in before? What are your settings then and now? Do you get this in other games? Did you uninstall your drivers and reinstall them? In your UT2004.ini there's a setting: "detected video memory = ***" correct this, then try putting all settings on lowest, 800x600 and all eyecandy off.

Thanks Cripple, I will try the user.ini thing and the nsee what happens.

I had a 6600 and the games settings are all pretty vanilla. Would you believe I didn't think of uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. I will definitely do that too. :)

Let you all know if it works. Either way I am going to get a new card because this 5600 sucks ass :(
