Chugging along at 17K/s. At 66Mb now.

People seems to say Doom3 with weaker weapons, better level design, and much more fun.

Ok, just completed it (single player).

Good:

- Fast and responsive menus, something 9/10 games lack.
- Pretty damn cool portals that is also instantaneous.
- Gravity walkways are insane! Shoot a guy and watch him fall to the roof ;)
- Nice interaction with objects like the TV, Jukebox etc.
- Spirit mode give a new twist to things
- When dead, although gimmicky, you don't have to load.
- Runs pretty damn well on medium spec machine (P4 3Ghz with X1300)
- Buy Oyster Cult's Dont fear the reaper. :p

Bad:

- Weapons lack kick (sounds seem ok, but impact with targets feels off)
- Enemies don't feel solid (as in, heavy like a human/alien should be.

All in all I am pretty damn impressed. It brings new tricks and twist to the tired FPS genre, and makes it fun. I can only imagine how insane DM must be.

I reckon I'll grab this for sure.

Gamos, have you heard Dont Fear The Reaper redone by the band HIM (http://www.heartagram.com/)? Done insanely well imho. :notworthy

(BTW. HIM is one of my fav bands.)

Nope, haven't heard that. What is the other song by HIM? The name rings a bell, but I can't palce the song.

Edit: Nevermind, I remembered it was Rip out the wings of a butterfly. Damn catchy tune.

5 albums, 1 compilation and several singles.

Tho their latest, Dark Light, isnt as good as their previous albums.

5FM plays Vampire Heart and Wings Of A Butterfly (From Dark Light) quite regularly.

heh, I was thinking that the other day, adds after adds....I mean they say stay tuned we gonna do this or that just now. When they actually do air the piece they talked about, I completely forgot about that...or it might just be my extremely short attention span... :\
