The title doesn't correctly explain the idea, but imagine being able to run around in a map while a demo recording plays. I think it would be pretty cool for guys who want to train within a pro match recording. Think about the "ghost" cars you get in certain games, where you can see your own ghost car from the previous lap and then try and match your speed. You don't need to be able to interact with the recorded characters and should be able to move through them as if they are ghosts. But you would be able too train your movements through a map and see if you can match the speed and agility of a pro player, for example. Do any of you superbrain people think its possible/viable/easy/difficult or just a stupid idea?

Another idea would be, that people could watch a Demo together on a server. Thus, players could explain certain situations etc while its playing as well as stopping and pausing. This was possible in Starcraft. Was pretty cool :D Unfortunately, the size of UT demos makes this a bit of a mission.

Yeah, it would be cool "presentation" style training. i.e.: "See, here is Maximus, now closely watch as he falls into the lava pool after nearly blowing himself up with the deemer. This is how NOT to play in Deck17".
