Suggestion

Hey mates - the GM tourney is obviously dying down - so thought I could make a suggestion.

How about we compressed it down to just the TDM matches to be finished - I have 1 spare Geforce 6600 - to throw in as a prize to the winning Clan - and the Clan can decide who it goes to? Otherwise this tourney is gonna linger forever - and I think GM has learned - that one game type at a time should be played?

But honestly, why just have the one prize, why not just say put in R500-R1000 & then the winning clan gets to split it with the players that played or something to that effect?! Cause 1 G-Card is kinda a silly thing to try & give a clan with something like 5+ players... & odds are that 2+ ppl are in need of a good G-Card, so for me it's a bit hard to kinda play for something that i might not even get to touch or see. Not like i'm going to be playing or anything, just offering advise or whatever! :P

well - if someone wants to buy the card from me - I will put that money as the prize :P we could scrap the existing placements and restart this tourney with one game type and a few modified rules? like weapons stay on?

I can't see this tourney ever ending and would much prefer it end than advantaging one clan with a price they might not have deserved. Maybe give the rankings as they turned out and write it down to some great experience for running an online tourney.

I give my vote to a new tourney rather than an half-assed ending.

Oh bite me Sneaky. I spoke to Naut and Divexo MONTHS ago... MONTHS! We even arranged with DJ to play our own maps and not the maps specified on the comp. We would have done both our CTF and TDM but I just never heard back from them. Divexo raised the question at the LAN, and I just once again asked them to set a date.

But I don't see the CTF and ONS matches going anyway either, but if you finish your fun at our expense, we can move on.

how about a royal rumble

like team arena over a few maps
once of 3- 4 hr fun and it's over and done .
no ass licking for play times, maps or dates

take the points you score in the arena as your score
add them all together and the guy with the most wins.

just an idea...
