Hi everyone.

Haja posted a thread http://unreal.co.za/forums/showthread.php?t=2044 asking Shrimp for a new forum as there are to many useless flamewars that take place that alot of people have to unfortunately read and is getting quite annoying and irritating to alot of the members.

There have been many suggestions as how to alleviate the presssure of ongoing flamewars that the whole community have to read.

So this is your chance to cast your vote and perhaps if the votes are conclusively directed at one option then we could have a new rule implemented to make some changes.

The way the "flame forum" would alleviate pressure/ flames off the general forum is because all the attention of flamers/ trolls would be directed to that forum.

Not only will the "more than capable" admins (if chosen) be able to move these potentially dangerous/ flame threads into the "flame forum" thereby keeping the general forums clean, it will also keep the trolls away from the decent threads as most of their time will be spent ragging it out in the "flame forum".

Another very advantage of this is : *loud drumroll*

"If anyone caught misbehaving/ flaming in the general section, or creating insulting/ abusive threads there, they can be reprimanded and then banned if they continue to make shit.

It's called a system and there isnt a functional one in place here and that is why you have this so called "freedom of speech" which is abused at the moment.

Make sense?

So please cast your vote and lets try make UZA a better place.

You mean a second forum where we could throw usesless double posts like this into?

Hmmmmm now theres an Ideea.

Wait, how about we create a seperate forum and only allow a select few to access it, the elite, a VIP section if you will and we remove these "cream of the crop" posters from the General forum and give them their very own Exclusive club where they can practice their mind training thought debates and share their razor sharp wit with each other leaving us Normal folk to keep on wondering what it will be like if we could be a part of that, only we will never know. I truly think that is the best ideea and I nominate Terror for president.

I haven't posted regularly here for a long, long time...main reason being, is that most of the content in the threads turn into flames between two ( read more ) members, having nothing to do with me. Thus, I would be in favour of a "clean" forum.

I don't have a thing against anyone here, because I think that that would be utterly retarded, since I have never met a single member from these forums in real life. Therefore, I find it silly to get involved in something that will devolve into idiotic drivel in ANY event. I generally find the odd flame thread funny, but sometimes they just tend to go pear-shaped when the dry, sarcastic, intelligent responses begin drying up and the random, unintelligible and unimaginative "l337" speak begins.

Oh, come on Terror. Let's not play dumb. Whether or not the implied is true is debatable, depending on how much you care, ( which for me, personally, isn't much ) but EVERYONE with a few noodles in their noggins knows what is being implied.

PS: It's really quite obvious that alot of members here like all the flaming which inturn creates alot of unhappy people. Which in that case I suppose my suggestion here wont be a favourable one and will probably be ignored and things will go on as before.

One thing I will say is that I wont be apologising to anyone should I get into/continue to get into any flame wars and it offends people.

They had the chance to make changes, it's not my fault if they didn't choose a different option.

PSS: We all know this ultimately lies with Shrimp, so lets not all get personal about something which might/probably not even happen.

No, I seriously do not have the time to explain everything. Why don't you go to the recent thread entitled "Why do you hate us so much?". Page 6 or 7, I believe is where ythe answer to your question lies.

I believe in time-saving. Wonderful philosophy...see, this is how it works. If faced with a dilemma, given two options I will calculate what the quickest, most efficient one would be and then just go with what feels good.

In this case, I could either repeat EVERYTHING in the earlier-mentioned thread, or, alternatively ( and much smarter ), I could just refer you there.
