Creative Labs sends along word that it has released some swanky new beta sound drivers (http://www.soundblaster.com/Gaming/doom3/?downloadtypedesc=12). "It's got bug fixes and performance increases for OpenAL-based PC games like UT2K4 and Republic Commando. Also, with the upcoming patch, it will give Doom 3 users a true hardware audio experience which will include 7.1 audio and EAX reverbs....in both the original game AND the expansion."

cool, driver fixes for games that are month almost years old, onthe ball, aren't they? :P (and they still beta, lol)
