I'm with axxess:
2GB shaped at R149p/m and 1GB unshaped for R149.
Went for 5, used to be on 10 but never reached it and always ran out of 3 so im hoping for perfect balance :P

I for one shouldnt be reaching my cap anyways...but yea...i think its discrimitory for em to do that....its obviously to real in the clients for their doff caps which are way to highly priced anyway!

Im still paying less than what i used to pay on my ISDN line...I pay...R270 for my 192 pipe*spliffy*(which is actually a 1024 line:D)and R349 for my 10 gig cap = R619 for 24hrs7days a week.
I dont get capped or shaped!

Ive tried, but I eventually got bored waiting and started playing WoW or something :P
4 mins per 1mb (+-)
one weekend = 60 hours
60 hours = 3600 mins
SO!!
900mbs per weekend!
or 3.6gb in a month!
Now if you include the weekdays you get....
12 hours = 720 mins
180mbs per day or 720mbs (Mon - Thu)
In Total:
2880mb + 3600mb = 6480mb! for a months worth of downloads.
and all unshaped and uncapped too ;)

Yes its fast and all, but it is so unbelievably full of shit :(

I mean, try to download anything through torrents, P2P or even DC++, and you get like 0.03kb/s
IRC keeps pinging out every hour or so.
Thunderbird can barely ever connect to my Gmail account.
I would rather eat my grandmother's snatch before using capped DSL.
it sucks. period. 56k FTW!
ehe...try watching that cap then:P...or better yet get the uncappe from garfield !

Cow, I assume you are referring to the performance of your DSL line after getting capped? When its capped you shouldn't expect to be able to use it at all for international access.

that is my point. I would rather have slow, consistent internet which I can use internationally, than have internet which is fast, but only works well for a while.
Once im capped I cant download anything, seeing as I only download music and nothing else. The music I download (extreme underground metal) can only be found in ONE international DC++ hub. So for my purpouses even Sentech would be WAY better than ADSL at the moment.
Makes sense...u never play UT anyway:P
