Y2K Bug

whatever happened with the Y2K bug, 5 years on and now only am i thinking about it, i was installing WIN98 on a PC and it said "installing Y2K fix" it appears to me that people were just making a big fuss.

I guess there were truly instances of where it would have mattered (banks for instance) but all in all, it was the big doomsday that never happened. It was actually just plain rediculous. It made alot of comapnies plenty money however!
