As an official statement
Team 42 officially retires from UT2003 and 2004, each and every major competitive title having been claimed by a 42 member.
And no, we are not playing CS either.

Both Karnaugh and Scrye has problems with the uza members, hence the type of conversations they have on IRC and Scrye's sig:

Paahleeeeeasseee. Spare me, their presence on the servers for the last 6-8 months was practically non existent , so they were already half way out the online gaming door.

I wasn't talking to the best of them, they haven't been around in ages. Just the trash they left behind. I don't have any issues with most of them, met them, had them at a couple of lans and most of em are cool and so forth.....
but if they don't want to play, they don't want to play, what can I say? There will be more ppl to take their place. maybe they just opening the door for better ppl to come in. Who knows?
I've got a few plans that I'm gonna try put in place to help the GM guys. things I'm not willling to talk about now. When I tried to setup what GM are doing now, these were the ppl to shoot me down. I'd rather work with ppl that have the community and the game in mind, not how to milk the game. And besides they walked out much earlier on as u said urself Sneaky.
I think it would be better to rejoin the ut community and have some clan matches.

I'd say that's my biggest reason for taking very little interest in this community of late. Because I try and help people boost their game, and 42 gets met with animosity for it. Sure, so you don't like Scrye and Karnaugh. Ever thought there might be OTHER people in Team 42? Probably not.

I know I've personally helped a few people with their games. But with the kind of animosity most people on this forum have for 42, I certainly don't enjoy helping people that troll this forum improve their games. I'd say that's my biggest reason for taking very little interest in this community of late. Because I try and help people boost their game, and 42 gets met with animosity for it. As I said, I've helped people with their games. That is, I've, when I feel they won't take my criticism the wrong way, told them what mistakes they're making, and what to do to fix it. But it's not a case of how we would like to help out. It's a case of how I've already helped out.
I've done nothing for anyone...
