What game

Ok i really love UT2k4 but my ping is not good enough for any first person shooter I guess.

What other games are there that are fun online? For orientation, I don´t like warcraft 3 but I liked diablo 2 (back in the days). Rumour has it World of Warcraft is good, but I am not willing to pay an extra monthly fee only to be able to play online.
Any ideas? Thanks.

yu can try games like NWN. VEry fun on the online modules, like Gates of Dawn, although you do need all 3 expansions to play, but I am sure you can get all 3 of them for about R400 from take 2 or kalahari (platinum collection or something).

There should be a WoW server up in SA (free 1), check tfr.sybaweb.something ... fook can't recall url. There's probably a few international ones up as well, so just google around a bit.

What do you need to play these online racing games? 56K prolly won't hack it?

Yes, Sip, it's Phat. I've just started playing Dawn of War. It's a really cool game, but I must honestly say that I have not built up the skill or confidence to venture online yet.
