How many of you are going to ditch Unreal for Quake4?
But then of course come back with your tail between your legs for UT2007 and make out you never left, and are one of the oldest and most respected community members, and adamently raving about how Quake4 is complete utter shit, when really it's just because you suck..

not me...i'll pop in to see how the improvements go...howeva....are there any other that promote DanZan Ryu Jujitsu, a system of self-defense that incorporates physical and mental training within a philosophy of ethical and moral standards?:P

i dumped ut (well almost) for bf2,
since the invasion of this crappy CS mod i really got pushed away from ut, i will prbbly be tending to many other games till ut 2007, maybe some asshole wont infest it with brightskins when he's reviewing it for his employer (awaiting flames here)...

I'll watch the stupid fighting with its senseless and degrading comments from the sidelines and do what I learned when I found myself in some Q3A vs UT flames...stop wasting time going * vs * play and enjoy both games. I can't understand why ppl can't play more than one game. Perhaps if you want to be the best or some shit like that, yeah, but I'm just playing for fun. So, bring on UT2007 and Quake IV, I'll play whatever my system can handle. :P
No offence JKR, just my point of view.
I gave up UT for some lollerblades.
Also I'm doing so much work with Linux, I converted my desktop and the shit linux ATI drivers make UT run like rubbish, so I decided it just was not worth playing anymore.

4 sgs servers - most of the time 40+ players on a 64 player server -
The 32 player gets full quick. also - the servers are almost allways busy :)
VF can't play BF2 with 56k :P :(
Ill play Q4, anything’s got to be better than BF2. Still think classic UT team games owns all and yeah TADM deserves to die, who wanted that crap mod on the SGS servers in the first place? :P

By the way, have they released a patch for BF2 yet to fix the F-UP that a 40 ton tank can't drive over a willow sappling or assorted weeds? When they do, I'll start playing it. :(

Not sure on ure angle here, for me - BF2 is a way cool game - guess different strokes for different folks.
You can drive over any plants except largish frees...

And BF2. It's ok. If you don't have a really good squad it's a fuck up.
BUT Camel sorry to pop you bubble, UT has a game flow that nothing can match.
BF2 is the shit,,, play it everyday and whenever i am free... TADM is a waste of time,,, fun once, then it sucks.
Once u get into the flow of BF2, its an extremely entertaining game, cause u can do tons of diff things. and i just started with the jets, and they kick the fckin ass, just cruising in the air, bombing, reloading,,, goes on forever
also with BF2, u get accomplishments after a while, u can actually set goals for urself in a round and get it,,, its the best.
as for UT, i still enjoy it alot, the fast gameplay in UT is definatly a unique one, and ill always come back for more...

i flew the f-18 last night for the 1st time...needless to say it didnt end well at all :/
Well for me it's like this.... Join UT server see them playing CS, go play BF2. It's such a rare occasion when u join a UT server and it's actually playing UT.
UT was supposed to be this fast paced action game, with an amazing game flow. All the idiots playing now can't cope with that so they play CS on the UT servers. Go play CS on the fucking CS servers. Leave the UT servers for UT.

What Struma said. UT is way more competitive than BF2 and hence require a lot more effort and consentration than BF2. At the end it just depends what I feel like doing during my spare time. Do some headshots in UT? Blow up some tanks in BF2? Race around a track? Kill some cops in GTA, etc etc. Aaah, it's so good having all these options.
Yeah - like maxi said - BF2 is a lot slower so then less quick thinking.
The cs mod for UT is friggin awesome. Its ut , but requires patience - not skop skiet and donder.
Anyways catch me on either UT or BF2.

Maybe, but when you have a bunch of crazed blood thristy Mofo's firing RPG'S, tank shells and Grenades at you, it tends to get a bit hectic and fast paced.... :)
I enjoy Xcom running under DosBox.
ATDM is like the lazy man's UT. They give you all the weapons and the armour up front - so you don't have to work to get them :)
