For starters, Ethereal is run by a primarily by a bunch of amateurs who were all too ill behaved to be allowed on other networks. People who just like Justea only crave power and couldn't get their own way. The very fact that Elysium went on a rampage for me mentioning Justaes involvement with SGS and Ethereal and illegal warez on MyADSL, having me banned from SGS forums (without me having posted there for 3 months) and running around demanding the various game admins ban me from their servers including UT speaks for its self in my opinion. The fact that you choose to defend, much less respect these people is also rather self explanatory of your mentality and attitude.

I know I'm certainly not going to win any popularity contests here, but Belgarion you are even more pretentious than I, and I know I can be an arogant fuck when I argue about topics I'm confident in. You're one of those people - a kid who tries to act mature and like he is better than everyone else but generally to everyone else its plainly obvious what you're after.

I can see your attraction to Justae, and he's not someone I'd like to even see in real life. In fact I hear lots of stories that he uses his "army training" and general asshole behaviour to intimidate people at many LAN's. Far be it from me to take notice of things like that however, but his cocky power hungry "god" attitude that he took with Shadowfire when they made security changes to their network speaks for its self. One of those people who "commands respect" but hardly understands the meaning of the word or gives any to anyone else.

His attitude online leaves 2 options

1) He is an arrogant alcoholic wife beating fuck. The kind of person I wouldn't piss on to put out a fire.

2) He is an immature little man who craves power and hides from the real world and takes out his depraved arrogance on virtual reality and MMPORGS. Something I have probably less respect for.

I get really tired of some peoples pretentious and arrogant "maturity". You're a know it all of the highest calibre Belgarion, maybe I'd have some respect for you if you didn't try your nonsense with friends of mine but unfortunately you've just lost any iota that I had left for you and the people you call friends.

All the time through Helix you've kept a side relationship with the person who tried to break it up from the start. Most of your attitude seems deeply rooted in CALE, the very person who insulted myself and other Helix founders, and clearly you feel the same way except are too chicken shit to choose a side, and haven't the spine to say what you really feel. You move from place to place with the sole goal to have power within it rather than the goal to provide help/service or anything, something that I have zero respect for.

Grow up. You're in varsity and still hide out in campus LAN's playing with telnet MUD's and scoffing at "lesser mortals" that have goals, lives and an iota of social experience. These people will get you no where, it took me quite a while to realise this my self, they are nobody - be sure that you don’t become one.

For starters, I don't see many complaints about how Ethereal is run. It is a far better server than Shadowfire and has had very little downtime. It's one of the country's best and most stable. Pretty good for 'amateurs', wouldn't you agree? You know fuck all about these people. Justae has done far more for me than I can say of anyone here, excepting TheProven. I will always defend my friends, unlike others where friendship means nothing and extends only as far as a cupped hand can stretch. Rather consider your own mentality and attitude before blatantly judging others.

The full reasoning behind this should be researched. I'm not fighting with you man, I have much respect for you, but I am just trying to clarify a few things. Firstly, hostmasks and ip addresses were needed to corealate between ingame characters and players in IRC. It's the only proper way to track them. With that gone there would be no legal way of doing it. There are many other reasons as well, but I don't think it is necessary to write them here. BTW, do you know how easy it is to obtain someones IP address with IRC or without? Keep da peace.

No, it isn't as easy as you delude to obtain a random persons IP address, if it was then there wouldn't be any problem - now would there? I was involved first hand in the argument Justae had and he could offer no logical reasoning as to why he needed to be able to see everyones IP address - added to that he used arrogance and intimidation (claiming that he had brought "lots of users" to Shadowfire). Don't lecture Mburr on details, because I'm very confident that he has far more than you (or I) do since he is one of the people that run Shadowfire.

Face facts, SGS admins and Justae (or maybe one in the same?) moved to Ethereal because they offerd them one thing - power, and infinite cute little vhosts to protect them.
