After Round 2 the points totals are as follows:

Red Team - 40
Blue Team - 30

Battles
Only one battle was fought, namely Ascendancy. Red Team succeeded in winning the match and have taken control of the map, earning them 5 points.

Falling Back
Because the Blue players involved in the Ascendancy battle lost, they are required to fall back. The fallback rules work as follows:

You must fall back to the map that you attacked from
If a fallback increases the number of players in a map to more than the maximum allowed army size, the excess players must be moved to other friendly maps in the Team's subsequent turn. Attacks are not considered valid moves for this purpose, so you may not re-enter these players into the map the battle was just fought on.

As an example:

Nevets, Shrimp, Rommel, PeterPan, Cataphract, Fatman, Dojee and Savage must be moved back to Adara. This increases Adara's army to 10, which is 5 more than the maximum allowed. Blue Team now needs to move 5 players out of Adara. Note that any 5 players may be moved, but that those moved cannot move into Ascendancy. They must move to either Dawn or Urban.

The 5 players that remain in Adara are free to attack Ascendancy again in their next turn, if they so wish.

If the above is unclear, let me know and I'll explain a bit more. :)

Missing Battles
As stated in another thread, battles will be played as is. Even if a team is heavily outnumbered, the battle must be fought.

If you won't be able to make a battle, please let a fellow Team player or clanmate know so that we have an idea of what's going on.

Please try and be on time. If you're going to be more than 15 minutes late, let someone know.

Holler if you have a problem. Shrimp, will you update the tactical map again? Thanks!

here's a thought...use it don't use it
ut has the skillz of a translocator right...

what if u get three translocator callups for instant troops(in case of missing players)
those points only reset after u used them all and they are ready one u battled three worlds.
plus u can only use them as emergancy soldiers and not to save ur ass on a bad planned planet were u would be out numbered....
at least that way everyone has some sort of fair chance and longer battles

Hmm - looking over this now it seems Ascendency is a bit of a choke point on the big map.

Red will likely move all it's peeps (aka insurmountable adversarial forces!) into Ascendancy in order to push further into Blue territory.

With the fall back rules - this makes it very difficult for Blue to gain Ascendancy back.

It will be an 8 v 10 battle (at max capacity) if Blue attack from both Adara & Primeval.

If Red manage to capture Adara or Primeval and Blue attack Ascendancy then it's a 3 v 5 or 5 v 7 depending maps.

Pity we don't have more links around Ascendancy.

How do the moves work now if they attack us and we attack them during the same turn?

Hmm - looking over this now it seems Ascendency is a bit of a choke point on the big map.

That was intentional. With such a small number of players, I needed a way to funnel them through a specific point. Doing so gives us battles quicker (no weeks and weeks of moving without any fighting) and more frequently (as can be seen, the map is quite important strategically).

With the fall back rules - this makes it very difficult for Blue to gain Ascendancy back.

Not necessarily. I put quite a bit of thought into the layout of the tactical map - to do some things you need to make sacrifices. Difficult ones too! Every player you move forward is one less left to guard the map you just left.

How do the moves work now if they attack us and we attack them during the same turn?

Like they normally do. Each action has a cost and it's up to each Team commander to evaluate that cost before moving his troops.

I'm quite excited about the tactical possibilities that this overhead map is beginning to exhibit. :D

I think it will go past week 6. :)

And there will be a continuous juggle fest for the middle planet - it's the only way into enemy territory afterall. Don't worry about things bogging down - if it gets that way I'll just invent a couple of new rules. ;)

Yep, understand what your saying no need to explain. If everybody pitched it would have been us that were a man down. Can only hope that the rest of the ladder will progress smoothly but im sure it will :)
